Jay Glazer Offers Stance On Mike Tomlin’s Future With Steelers

'I think it'll be his decision'

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will ultimately be in control of his own future.

Tomlin is expected to return for a 20th campaign with the organization in 2026, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It’ll ultimately be his decision, however, according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer.

“Mike Tomlin, I think it’ll be his decision. I don’t see him getting fired,” Glazer said during his network’s pregame show on Sunday.

Tomlin, who continued the longest streak of non-losing seasons in NFL history in 2025, can win the AFC North and earn a playoff berth if his club defeats the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. If they lose, they will miss the postseason for just the seventh time since he took over in 2007.
