Report: T.J. Watt ‘Expected To Be Ready’ For Steelers’ Next ‘Meaningful’ Game

Watt will miss his third straight game on Sunday

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was ruled out for the team’s Week 17 game vs. the Cleveland Browns on Friday as he recovers from his partially collapsed lung.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero provided some good news on Saturday, however, regarding the eight-time Pro Bowler’s potential return to action this season.

“Steelers star LB T.J. Watt will miss his third straight game Sunday. But Watt is expected to be ready for Pittsburgh’s next meaningful game, whether that’s in Week 18 or the playoffs,” Pelissero posted on X.

Watt missed his first game of the season in Week 15 when the Steelers defeated the Miami Dolphins 28-15 on “Monday Night Football” and has yet to return.
