How Steelers Can Secure AFC North After Ravens Fall To Patriots

Pittsburgh is aiming to clinch the AFC North title for the first time since 2020

The Steelers secured a pivotal victory on Sunday, defeating the Detroit Lions 29-24. Pittsburgh is focused on clinching the AFC North title, and this win was just one of the key factors contributing to its pursuit of that goal.

Pittsburgh is currently vying with the Ravens for the top spot in the division, while Baltimore suffered a loss against the New England Patriots on “Sunday Night Football”.

With its recent loss, the Ravens now hold a 7-8 record, while the Steelers have improved to 9-6. The Steelers now only need to either win one more game or secure a tie to clinch the division title, or the Ravens must suffer another defeat.

The Ravens will travel to Green Bay to face the Packers this Saturday. If Baltimore loses, the result of the Steelers’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday will become irrelevant, as Pittsburgh will have already secured the division title.

If, by some chance, the Ravens manage to beat the Packers and the Steelers lose to the Browns, then in Week 18, Baltimore and Pittsburgh will face off for the AFC crown.
