The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a significant victory against the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday, propelling them to the top of the AFC North standings.
Now that the Steelers control their own destiny in the division, they need to ensure they don’t suffer a setback over the next four weeks.
One scenario where Pittsburgh could lose the division is by falling to the Ravens in Week 18. According to Bleacher Report’s Brad Gagnon, a loss to Baltimore would be the biggest nightmare for the Steelers.
“This one’s easy: A Week 18 home loss to the floundering Ravens costs them the division crown and a playoff spot,” Gagnon wrote on Wednesday.
The Steelers have had a rollercoaster of a season, and losing in Week 18 to Baltimore could be the icing on the cake, potentially ending their playoff hopes.

Pittsburgh has to secure victories over the Dolphins and Browns in two of its next three matchups and aim for an upset win over the Lions before facing the Ravens.
