Mike Tomlin Responds To Calls For Firing After Steelers’ Loss To Bills

'I share their frustration tonight'

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Steelers on Sunday, 26-7, leaving Pittsburgh fans less than thrilled.

Steelers fans began chanting “Fire Mike Tomlin” throughout the stadium late in the game, and Pittsburgh’s head coach responded to those chants on Sunday.

“I share their frustration tonight,” Tomlin said, via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. “We didn’t do enough.”

It seems like every week when the Steelers step onto the field, something is missing on either side of the ball. However, against Buffalo, neither the offense nor the defense seemed to show up.

Pittsburgh’s offense struggled to find any rhythm throughout the game, and a lot of that can be attributed to quarterback Aaron Rodgers returning from a wrist injury that sidelined him for last week’s matchup against the Chicago Bears.

The defense performed just as poorly as the offense, allowing a staggering 249 rushing yards. This marks the highest total rushing yards the Steelers have ever surrendered in a game at Acrisure Stadium.

Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, things won’t get any easier as it heads to Baltimore next Sunday to face a Ravens team that is coming off a tough loss on “Thursday Night Football” to the Cincinnati Bengals and is eager to seize control of the AFC North.
