Josh Allen knows he and the Buffalo Bills have to get back on track on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Bills are set to go on the road to play the Steelers at 4:25 p.m. ET in a crucial AFC showdown. Buffalo is coming off an upset loss to the Houston Texans and is holding onto the final Wild Card spot, so Allen said the Bills need to have a good performance against the Steelers.
“Extremely high sense of urgency,” Allen said on Wednesday ahead of the Steelers matchup. “We understand where we’re at. We have full confidence in ourselves, but ultimately it comes down to executing on game days.”
The Bills are chasing the New England Patriots for the top spot in the AFC East. However, Allen said Buffalo is just taking it one game at a time and has their sole focus on the Steelers and finding a way to get a road win on Sunday.
“We’ve had some good, had some bad, throughout the year,” Allen added. “I think there’d be a lot of teams that are wishing that they were 7-4 in a spot that we are. So it’s also about that opportunity in front of us of hey, let’s go out, let’s play as hard as we can, let’s put our best foot forward, and try to get a victory on Sunday. That’s ultimately what it comes down to.”
