NFL Serves Steelers’ Jalen Ramsey Punishment For Role In Ja’Marr Chase Spitting Incident

A chunk of change coming out of Ramsey's pockets

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey was ejected from the team’s Week 11 game after throwing a punch at Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

Chase subsequently learned the hard way that the cameras are always rolling, as video evidence of the pass-catcher spitting on Ramsey soon came out.

The 2021 draft pick was suspended for the Bengals Week 12 matchup vs. the New England Patriots and on Saturday, Ramsey learned his punishment.

“Jalen Ramsey’s punch of Ja’Marr Chase after the WR spit on him cost the Steelers safety $14,491,” ESPN’s Brooke Pryor posted on X.

The 31-year-old Ramsey has played in each of the Steelers’ first 10 games this season and ranks inside the top five on the team in a host of categories.
