WWE Star Seth Rollins Cuts Promo On ‘Perfect Heel’ Aaron Rodgers

'I hope that his little wrist is OK'

Chicago Bears fans haven’t let go of their animosity toward Aaron Rodgers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Soldier Field to play the Bears in a Week 12 battle of first-place teams. Rodgers is uncertain to face his former NFC North rival after fracturing his left wrist in last Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Some supporters may prefer to avoid Rodgers given his 24-5 career record against the franchise, but not Seth Rollins. The WWE superstar, an avid Bears fan and frequent NFL Network guest analyst, unloaded a scathing wrestling promo on the Steelers quarterback during Thursday’s “Good Morning Football.”

“I hope that his little wrist is OK,” Rollins said. “I hope that he suits up this Sunday in Chicago because this is not the same Bears team that he has faced years and years and years and years in Chicago.”

Rollins wants the former Green Bay Packers star to oppose the 7-4 Bears, who are seeking their first division title and double-digit win tally since 2018. Meanwhile, “The Architect” doesn’t think the 41-year-old Rodgers can still dominate.

“He is not the same Aaron Rodgers that he’s always been,” Rollins declared. “He’s on the backside of his career, so I hope — I hope that he shows up.”

The six-time WWE world champion promised a gridiron beatdown on the quarterback who once claimed to own the Bears.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

“Ben Johnson is gonna stick it to you, man. Dennis Allen is gonna find a way to blitz and drop you on your back,” Rollins claimed. “I swear. I swear, we’re not gonna come on here next week having the same conversation about Aaron Rodgers owning the Chicago Bears. He’s gonna be giving up his ownership.”

Rollins then steered his diatribe to familiar territory when painting Rodgers as a wrestling bad guy.

“Every hero needs a good villain,” he said. “Every babyface needs a good heel. Aaron Rodgers is the perfect heel, the perfect foil for the babyfaces of 2025, the Chicago Bears.”

That’s all moot if Rodgers doesn’t suit up Sunday, but Rodgers could relish the chance to silence Rollins and the Bears one more time.
