While the Pittsburgh Pirates sit in a rain delay against the Milwaukee Brewers, the team got a first this season from its first baseman.
Spencer Horwitz put a charge into a pitch from Milwaukee’s Aaron Civale over the wall in right center field at PNC Park for a solo shot. You can watch the long ball for the Pirates’ first baseman here.
Horwitz entered with a .231 batting average and a .564 OPS. The Pirates trailed the Brewers 5-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning when the game went into a delay.
