If the Steelers come to an agreement with still-available Aaron Rodgers ahead of the draft, it would make sense for Pittsburgh not to use its premier pick on the second- or third-best quarterback in an underwhelming class. However, if Mike Tomlin’s team can’t sign Rodgers before the draft begins, the Steelers might have no choice but to draft a signal-caller.
Shedeur Sanders, among others, continues to be linked to the Steelers.
