NFL Draft Expert Predicts Every Steelers Pick In Latest Mock

Shedeur Sanders to the Steel City?

Dane Brugler believes Shedeur Sanders could slide down the NFL draft board and ultimately land with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Athletic’s NFL draft expert published a seven-round mock Wednesday, which included all six of Pittsburgh’s selections. In doing so, the Steelers drafted Sanders and their running back of the future after the departure of Najee Harris.

Check out Brugler’s six Steelers selections here:

Round 1, No. 21 overall: Shedeur Sanders, QB
Round 3, No. 83: Dylan Sampson, RB
Round 4, No. 123: Jordan Phillips, DT
Round 5, No. 156: Elijah Roberts, Edge
Round 6, No. 185: Chimere Dike, WR
Round 7, No. 229: Carson Bruener, LB

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin reportedly “really likes” Sanders, who met with Pittsburgh last week.

Brugler noted that adding Sanders could come with a serviceable short-term option already in place. Pittsburgh has been linked to Aaron Rodgers this offseason and is viewed as the favorite to sign the four-time NFL MVP. When that might be, however, remains unclear.
