Russell Wilson Posts Cryptic Message After Aaron Rodgers Visit

'Don’t ever stop believing in you!'

The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have upset Russell Wilson.

Wilson may have helped led the club to the playoffs last season, but despite still being available on the open market, it would appear there’s no path back to Pittsburgh. NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported this week that he doesn’t expect Pittsburgh to bring back the 36-year-old.

The Steelers instead have their eyes on Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers reportedly visited the facility on Friday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that there is no meaningful movement toward a contract yet, but it seems like the best option for both sides would be for a union. Wilson would be with one less possible landing spot if that were to come to fruition, seemingly prompting his latest post on X.

“Relentless Confidence. Don’t ever stop believing in you!” Wilson wrote.

Rodgers clearly is preferred over Wilson. It just remains to be seen whether or not that is a smart decision on the part of Pittsburgh.
