The Pittsburgh Steelers have more to worry about than the quarterback position this offseason.
The entire offense could look different in 2025. Pittsburgh clearly needs to add more firepower to the wide receiver room and that has been the most talked about topic revolving around the team aside from the quarterback position. The running back room could look different too, though.
Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren both will be available this offseason. It’s too early to know if either will be back in 2025. Harris likely would be the more expensive option of the two so it wouldn’t be shocking to see another team swoop in and go after him. The 33rd Team’s Tyler Brooke floated the Las Vegas Raiders as a possible suitor.
“While the Las Vegas Raiders fanbase is focused on determining the next quarterback, another question is who will be their starting running back,” Brooke said. “Sincere McCormick showed some flashes this season, but the Raiders need someone who can handle a heavy workload, especially with Ameer Abdullah and Alexander Mattison hitting free agency.
“Harris could be a logical fit for the Raiders. They desperately need someone who can play the position after ranking dead last in yards before contact per rush and 31st in yards after contact. They also have $94 million in cap space, the second-most space of any NFL team, to sign some veterans. The Raiders have other pressing needs on their roster, so they can focus on using their draft picks elsewhere while taking a flier on Harris to see if he can boost their run game without breaking the bank.”

Las Vegas is a team in flux and certainly needs to add some talent. Maybe the Raiders could end up being a team that hands Harris a large deal.
