The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of questions surrounding the quarterback position that need to be answered this offseason.
The Steelers finished the 2024 season with a 10-7 record before being bounced out of the playoffs by their rival Baltimore Ravens in the NFL Wild Card Round. It was a season that felt like a success until they dropped five games in a row to close out the year.
Now, questions remain about who will be leading the Steelers on offense — something that was a major question at the end of last season. Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are headed to free agency, meaning that the Steelers need to make some decisions.
Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton delivered a bold prediction that Wilson won’t be returning to the Steelers, and instead signing a multi-year deal with the New York Giants.
“Last offseason, the New York Giants had contact with Russell Wilson before he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Moton wrote. “ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted the two sides had an ‘exploratory meeting’ in New Jersey.”

“The 36-year-old Wilson could be the answer to the Giants’ short-term quarterback woes and a mentor to a young signal-caller from one of the next two drafts,” Moton added.
The Steelers have a lot to figure out over the next few months to prepare for the 2025 campaign.
