Steelers Cannot Fall Behind After Tough Start To AFC North Stretch

The battle for the AFC North has only just begun

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have a close eye on “Monday Night Football” as the Baltimore Ravens battle the Los Angeles Chargers in a tilt between current wild-card contenders.

Pittsburgh started the season 8-2 and gained momentum from a rejuvenated quarterback room and its patented physicality. With all that success, Week 12 marked the start of five division games in six weeks. That stretch, despite how hot the team started, will ultimately decide the fate of the Steelers’ season and just how far this team can go.

The Steelers certainly did not start on the right foot as a snowy scenario made for an upset loss to the struggling Cleveland Browns on “Thursday Night Football.” The Steelers still have another matchup with the Browns, a huge game with the Ravens and both meetings with the struggling yet dangerous Cincinnati Bengals.

The Ravens can move into a tie for the top of the division with a win Monday night. The pressure is on the Steelers to fight complacency and create separation in their pursuit of their first AFC North title since 2020.
