For Pittsburgh Steelers fans, being a member of Steelers Nation feels like being part of a family.

Whether you’re celebrating Steelers wins or trying to forget painful losses, one thing is certain: There will never be a dull moment if you’re watching the big game at the bar with other “yinzers.”

Here are some of the top locations around Pittsburgh where you can watch Steelers games.

Best sports bars in Pittsburgh to watch the Steelers game

Some spots in Pittsburgh have closed, like Jerome Bettis’ Grille 36, which was only a short walk away from Acrisure Stadium. However, there are still several terrific locations for Steelers fans.

Tom’s Watch Bar is a great North Shore spot on game days. With big screens blasting live game audio, jumbo wings to eat and cold beer to drink, the atmosphere is perfect for a football crowd.

You can stop at Lefty’s if you happen to be traveling along Western Avenue. The dive bar moved from the Strip District to the North Side and is keeping the spirit of the old place alive at its new location.

With more than 80 rotating taps and hundreds of beers, Mike’s Beer Bar is the perfect spot to have a brew with your crew. When the Steelers are in action, the establishment opens at 9 a.m. ET for 1 p.m. ET games.

Located across the street from PNC Park, the North Shore Tavern is known for its delicious Steak on a Stone. A Pirates bar, the tavern has welcomed Steelers fans with open arms.

Redbeard’s offers a pregame breakfast buffet from 9 a.m. ET to noon ET before Steelers games that start at 1 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET. Located downtown near Heinz Hall, Redbeard’s also has a good Miller Lite bucket deal (five for $20).

Of course, you could always stop at one of the many Primanti Bros. locations around the city.

Downtown and North Shore hotspots for game day

Monterey Pub is a 20-minute walk from Acrisure Stadium, while the Modern Cafe is just 10 minutes away from the Steelers’ home field.

If you’re looking for a wild atmosphere, Tequila Cowboy is on the corner of North Shore Drive and Chuck Noll Way. After a few drinks, you may be feeling confident enough to hop on stage at the karaoke bar.

There are several parking options around Acrisure Stadium. The Champions Parking Garage is designated for game day events, located at the corner of West General Robinson Street and Tony Dorsett Drive. It is recommended to purchase parking ahead of time with SpotHero.

Parking lots typically open five hours before the start of Steelers games.

Neighborhood favorites beyond Downtown

Known for its indoor-outdoor setup and food and drink specials, William Penn Tavern in Lawrenceville is one of the best places to watch a Steelers game.

If you’re in Bloomfield, Silky’s Pub provides a cozy atmosphere on game day. Lot 17 is also just a few minutes away from Silky’s on Liberty Avenue.
