The Pittsburgh Steelers just barely snuck into the 2025 NFL Playoffs, but now that they are here, they are going to look to put together a deep playoff run. They have drawn a tough matchup against the Houston Texans in the wild card round, however, which is going to make things difficult for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Steelers’ offense.
In his first year with Pittsburgh, Rodgers has proven that, even at 42 years old, he can still play at a high level under center, and that’s precisely what he’s going to have to do against a talented Houston defense. While there’s no doubt he’s spending pretty much all of his free time preparing for this game, Rodgers took a break to go visit fans at a local hospital ahead of his huge matchup.
Rodgers’ heartwarming quickly caught attention on social media, as nobody would have faulted him for locking in on his preparation for his first playoff game with the Steelers. This isn’t his first rodeo, though, as Rodgers has been around long enough to know what he has to do to get himself ready for this game.
As a result, he opted to use some of his downtime to give back to the community, which will surely make him even more popular in the Pittsburgh area. If Rodgers can lead the Steelers past the Texans on Monday night, though, he could quickly begin authoring one final championship run before he rides off into the sunset.
