As the Pittsburgh Steelers get ready to host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football in Week 18, the odds are not in their favor. Coming off a surprising loss to the Cleveland Browns, they enter the weekend as 3.5-point home underdogs against the Ravens in a game that will decide the AFC North.
Steelers fans shouldn’t panic, though, for history is on their side. Aaron Rodgers is 4-1 against Baltimore, including Pittsburgh’s road win against the Ravens four weeks ago. He’s also 8-3 in the regular season in January and thrives in the cold weather.
Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson has struggled versus the Steelers, going 3-6 against them in the regular season. He’s also coming off an injury and has floundered in big games, going 3-5 in postseason contests. This is essentially a playoff game, which doesn’t bode well for the two-time NFL MVP.
Furthermore, Mike Tomlin has owned Baltimore as an underdog lately. Since 2020, he’s 7-1 outright and against the spread as an underdog against the Ravens, consistently proving the sportsbooks wrong.
Last week’s disappointing loss aside, Pittsburgh was 3-1 in December and is finishing the season strong. The Steelers have also played well at Acrisure Stadium this year, winning four of their last six home games.

Accordingly, don’t be surprised if Pittsburgh finds a way to upset Baltimore on Sunday and win its first division title since 2020, especially with T.J. Watt coming back from injury this week.
