WATCH: Steelers’ Kenneth Gainwell Makes Impossible Touchdown Catch

ARE YOU KIDDING!?

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Kenneth Gainwell made the play of the year during Sunday’s contest with the Detroit Lions.

Gainwell, who somewhat surprisingly leads the club in receptions (57) in 2025, made an impossible play as he reeled in a pass while being dragged to the ground, before getting up and running into the end zone before ever being touched to score a touchdown and tie the game with just two seconds remaining in the second quarter.

No, seriously.

It’s about as good of a catch as you’ll ever see…

Detroit Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone was flagged for pass interference on the play but rolled away before the ball even arrived, allowing Gainwell to finish off his seventh touchdown of the season — which came in the immediate aftermath of an odd sequence where wide receiver DK Metcalf was caught on camera swiping at a fan in the stands at Ford Field.

The Steelers and Lions remained tied at halftime, 10-10.
