Coming off a tight win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14, the Pittsburgh Steelers showed up ready to play the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football in Week 15.
After a sluggish first half that saw just 10 points on a freezing night at Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers hit their stride in the second half. They scored touchdowns on four straight possessions for the first time in seven years, cruising to an easy 28-15 victory and eliminating the Dolphins from playoff contention.
It was Pittsburgh’s 23rd straight home win on Monday Night Football. The franchise hasn’t lost at home on MNF since October 1991.
Despite being without T.J. Watt, the Steelers’ defense brought its A-game, yielding just three points through the first three quarters before surrendering a pair of meaningless touchdowns in garbage time. They picked off Tua Tagovailoa once and sacked him four times.

While Tagovailoa struggled to get going in the cold, Aaron Rodgers had no such issues. He completed 23 of his 27 pass attempts for 224 passing yards and two touchdowns, posting his highest completion rate of the season and connecting with nine different pass catchers.
Kenneth Gainwell paced Pittsburgh’s offense with 126 scrimmage yards on 20 touches, topping 100 total yards for the third time in five games.
The Steelers improved to 8-6 with the win, maintaining their one-game lead over the Ravens in the AFC North with just three games remaining. They’ll look to extend their winning streak to three games in a tough road matchup with the Detroit Lions next week.
