The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up for one of their biggest games of the season tonight as they prepare to host the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
At 7-6, the Steelers lead the AFC North by just half a game over the Baltimore Ravens. With only four games remaining in its regular season, every game is massively important for Pittsburgh at this stage of the year.
Fortunately for the Steelers, they have history on their side. They’ve won their last 22 home games on Monday Night Football, so Mike Tomlin should have them prepared.
They also have the weather on their side, as the temperature is expected to be around 18 degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has notoriously struggled in cold weather, going winless in his NFL career in games where the temperature is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff.

Aaron Rodgers, on the other hand, is used to the cold after spending 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He’s 43-18 in December, which is his best winning percentage of any month with at least a dozen starts.
Rodgers is also coming off one of his best games of the year after throwing for a season-high 284 yards in last week’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, giving him some momentum coming into this matchup.
Pittsburgh will be without T.J. Watt on defense, but otherwise the Steelers are in pretty good shape heading into tonight’s pivotal showdown at Acrisure Stadium.
