Pat Narduzzi’s squad earned a spot in the Military Bowl, setting the stage for a matchup with East Carolina, which also brings an 8-4 record into the game. This will only be the fifth battle between the Panthers and Pirates and the first meeting since ECU defeated Pitt in 1992.

Pitt vs. East Carolina is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 27. The Military Bowl will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.
This will mark the Panthers’ second appearance in the Military Bowl. They previously faced Navy in the 2015 edition of the game, losing to the Midshipmen, 44-28.
