When Is Pitt’s Bowl Game? Date, Time & TV Details for the Panthers’ Postseason Matchup

Pitt may not be part of the College Football Playoff field, but the Panthers are going bowling after finishing the regular season with an 8-4 record.

Pat Narduzzi’s squad earned a spot in the Military Bowl, setting the stage for a matchup with East Carolina, which also brings an 8-4 record into the game. This will only be the fifth battle between the Panthers and Pirates and the first meeting since ECU defeated Pitt in 1992.

After a 2-2 start to the 2025 campaign, the Panthers won six of their last eight games with quarterback Mason Heintschel (2,098 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, seven interceptions) leading the way. Can the true freshman end the season on a high note?

  • Time: 11 a.m. ET

Pitt vs. East Carolina is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 27. The Military Bowl will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.

This will mark the Panthers’ second appearance in the Military Bowl. They previously faced Navy in the 2015 edition of the game, losing to the Midshipmen, 44-28.
