Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers just turned 42.
Rodgers, who already isn’t very chipper to begin with, probably wasn’t in the mood to celebrate given recent losses to the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills — but reportedly decided to give it a go anyway and celebrated with teammates on Tuesday.
Rodgers had wide receivers, tight ends and running backs to his house to watch film and go over plays, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette’s Gerry Dulac. Steelers wide receiver Ben Skowronek even brought a cake and led his teammates in a stirring rendition — one can only assume — of Happy Birthday.
The Steelers certainly hope that group meeting will lead to some improvement from all involved, who have been particularly underwhelming in recent weeks, as the club looks to squeak things out in the AFC North.
