The Buffalo Bills entered their Week 13 road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday without their two starting offensive tackles.
Buffalo was without left tackle Dion Dawkins and right tackle Spencer Brown due to injuries. The Bills started Ryan Van Demark at left tackle and Alec Anderson at right tackle, who both did a good job against the vaunted Steelers’ pass rush.
The Steelers didn’t record a sack as Buffalo did a good job blocking Watt, while Josh Allen got the ball out quickly. After Buffalo’s 26-7 road win over Pittsburgh, Anderson revealed the game plan to stop Watt.
“Just go out there and, wherever the dude is lined up, block the (expletive),” Anderson said postgame on Sunday.
Anderson also believes Patrick Queen’s hit on Josh Allen, which the broadcast thought was late, woke the offensive line up.

“We try to keep 17 as clean as possible,” Anderson said, “and then when somebody goes out there and does a cheap shot like that, it kind of wakes everybody up. We’ve got to set our jaws and come out here and get ready to swing. It’s going to be a Mike Tyson fight.”
Watt, meanwhile, was flabbergasted with the Steelers’ performance, as he said the team was dominated in all areas of the game.
“We’ll have to watch the film, but it was an ass kicking in all areas,” Watt said postgame.
