The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to get back in the win column this week when they take on the Buffalo Bills.
Pittsburgh lost to the Chicago Bears on Sunday and will need to exploit the Bills’ most significant weaknesses to beat Buffalo.
The Bills are struggling against the run this season, with Pro Football Focus ranking them as the 29th-worst run defense in the NFL.
Pittsburgh must focus on getting running backs Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell involved to challenge Buffalo’s rushing defense throughout the game.
The Steelers are currently facing challenges at quarterback, as Aaron Rodgers missed last week’s game due to a wrist injury. However, it is looking like he will be back in action on Sunday after participating fully in practice on Thursday. The less Rodgers has to throw, the better it will be for the Steelers.

Sunday’s matchup is crucial for the Steelers as they continue to vie for the AFC North title. Even if they don’t come out on top in the division, they’re still in the hunt for a wild-card spot. Currently, the Bills occupy one of those wild-card spots, with the New England Patriots leading the AFC East. If the Bills manage to defeat the Steelers, they will gain a significant advantage in the wild-card standings.
