Steelers Make Pair Of Roster Moves Before Bengals Rematch

Pittsburgh will be looking for revenge against Cincinnati

The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading into Week 11 looking for revenge against the Cincinnati Bengals. Back in Week 7, the Bengals handed the Steelers a shocking 33-31 upset defeat, which is part of a recent stretch that has seen Pittsburgh lose three of its past four games. With the AFC North race heating up, the team needs a win to get back on track.

Doing so is going to be easier said than done, as the Steelers are banged up at several spots heading into this contest. With more depth needed, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, the team elevated linebacker Mark Robinson and cornerback D’Shawn Jamison from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of their clash with the Bengals.

“We have elevated LB Mark Robinson and CB D’Shawn Jamison to the Active/Inactive Roster from the Practice Squad,” the team announced in a post on X.

Robinson has spent time with three teams this season, as he has played three games apiece for the New England Patriots and New York Jets, while also suiting up for the Steelers in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Jamison hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2023, when he took the field 15 times for the Carolina Panthers.

Neither of these guys figures to have a massive role in this game, but should more injuries pop up, the coaching staff wants to have all of its bases covered. Kickoff for the Steelers’ very important divisional matchup against the Bengals is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
