The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly are looking to add to their wide receiver room ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
Pittsburgh is linked to several wide receivers ahead of the deadline. ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler went on “SportsCenter” on Saturday and revealed the Steelers are ‘scouring the Earth’ to find receiver help.
“Also, Pittsburgh, they are scouring the earth for wide receiver help,” Fowler said on Saturday. “They are looking around. Las Vegas’ Jaokbi Meyers is an option. Teams are calling about Miami’s Jaylen Waddle, but the Dolphins haven’t shown they want to do anything yet, but there could be a receiver moved at the deadline. Pittsburgh could be involved in those conversations.”
The Steelers reportedly are looking for receiver help to give Aaron Rodgers another option to pair alongside DK Metcalf.
As Fowler reports, Meyers is an option for the Steelers. The Las Vegas Raiders’ receiver requested a trade in the offseason and would be the Steelers’ No. 2 receiver. Meyers has recorded 29 receptions for 329 yards and is in the final year of his three-year, $33 million deal.

The other name that could be available for the Steelers is Waddle, who’s under contract through the 2028 NFL season, but there is a potential out after 2027. Waddle has 30 receptions for 405 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Regardless, it’s clear the Steelers are looking to bolster their offense ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline. Pittsburgh is off to a 4-2 start and is atop the AFC North.
