The Pittsburgh Steelers defense was non-existent during their 33-31 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.
Cincinnati, led by quarterback Joe Flacco — who joined the Bengals less than two weeks ago — racked up a total of 470 yards. Pittsburgh’s pass rush failed to pressure Flacco effectively and recorded only two sacks.
Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy took issue with pass rusher T.J. Watt for disappearing during Cincinnati’s game-winning drive.
“In the fourth quarter, I made a call to the police,” McCoy said Thursday on “Speakeasy”. “Has anybody found T.J.? Did he play today? You got a 40-year-old quarterback in the backfield that can’t move a lick, and I see no pressure.”
Flacco led the Bengals on an eight-play drive with less than three minutes remaining in the game, setting up a winning field goal. During the drive, Flacco completed three passes for a total of 61 yards and made it look effortless.

The Steelers locked in a three-year, $123 million extension with Watt this offseason, expecting him to step up and make crucial plays in the fourth quarter. However, last night he disappeared when it mattered the most.
