Steelers Defender Gives NSFW Opinion Of Ravens’ Horrendous Start

Another week, another loss for Baltimore

The Pittsburgh Steelers continued to pull away from the rest of the AFC North in Week 6. The Steelers won their third straight game while their three division rivals all lost for the third week in a row.

At 4-1, Pittsburgh has a 2.5-game lead over the second-place Cincinnati Bengals and is the only team in the division with a winning record. The 2-4 Bengals remain winless without Joe Burrow, while the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns have both started 1-5.

While the Browns’ record isn’t surprising, the injury-riddled Ravens are shockingly off to their worst start since 2015. They’ve dug themselves a significant hole, which is a major reason why the Steelers are now favored to win their first AFC North title since 2020.

However, Pittsburgh safety DeShon Elliott isn’t getting too excited about Baltimore’s poor start, echoing a similar quote from Mike Tomlin last week.

“I don’t give a (bleep) about Baltimore,” Elliott told reporters after Sunday’s 23-9 win over Cleveland. “It’s still early in the season. We got to handle our games. One game at a time, one day at a time, literally…We gotta just keep stacking stacking these wins.”

Elliott added that the Steelers started strong last year, too, only to start “(bleeping) the bed” down the stretch.

Pittsburgh started last season 10-3, only to lose its final four games of the regular season and lone postseason game against the Ravens, blowing the division in the process. A lot can happen between now and January.

That said, the Steelers can continue to grow their lead over the AFC North with another win this week against Cincinnati on Thursday Night Football. Baltimore is off, while the Browns have a winnable matchup against the 1-5 Miami Dolphins.
