The betting markets couldn’t overlook the Pittsburgh Steelers’ expanding division lead any longer.
The 1-4 Baltimore Ravens entered Week 6 as favorites to win the AFC North over the 3-1 Steelers. But for the second week in a row, the Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns all lost.
Baltimore lost its fourth straight game with Lamar Jackson still sidelined, and Pittsburgh bolstered its winning streak to three with a 23-9 victory over Cleveland. As a result, Las Vegas changed course.
As of Monday morning, the Steelers jumped to -180 favorites over the Ravens (+180) to win the AFC North on DraftKings Sportsbook. They’re -145 compared to the Ravens’ +160 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Neither sportsbook gives the Bengals or Browns much of a chance. Cincinnati is +1500 on FanDuel and +2000 on DraftKings entering Thursday night’s home game against the Steelers. The 1-5 Browns are an astronomical +3300 underdog on FanDuel and +6500 on DraftKings.

Vegas might have been hesitant to crown the Steelers after remembering last season. At 10-3, the Steelers exited Week 14 with a two-game lead over the Ravens before losing their final four games and relinquishing first place.
Baltimore began the 2025 campaign as AFC North favorites, but the preseason Super Bowl contender’s freefall has become impossible to ignore. John Harbaugh’s team has allowed an NFL-worst 32.3 points per game, and the Jackson-less offense mustered 3.9 yards per play with three turnovers in Sunday’s 17-3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The Ravens have time to get healthy and back on track before playing the Steelers in Weeks 14 and 18. That keeps their comeback hopes alive, especially since Pittsburgh faces some stout playoff contenders (Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions) outside the division.
For now, the Steelers can maintain firm control over the AFC North by defeating the Bengals this Thursday night.
