Steelers’ Jaylen Warren Returns To Practice Amid Knee Injury

Warren missed Week 4 due to a knee injury

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren missed his first game of the 2025 season in Week 4 due to a knee injury.

The Steelers had a Week 5 bye, however, giving the dual threat a chance for an extended rest and extra time to recover.

Warren was back on the practice field on Monday, six days ahead of the team’s Week 6 meeting with the Cleveland Browns.

“Jaylen Warren back in individual drills at Steelers practice today after missing Week 4 in Dublin,” Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette posted on X, along with a video of Warren.

The 26-year-old was a surprise inactive vs. the Minnesota Vikings after it was reported one day before the Ireland contest that Warren was expected to play.

Pittsburgh backup running back Kenneth Gainwell filled in admirably during the Steelers’ victory over the Vikings, recording 99 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.

Warren is in his first year as Pittsburgh’s starter after the team saw former Pro Bowl running back Najee Harris sign with the Los Angeles Chargers in the offseason.

He’s posted 43 carries for 132 scoreless yards through three games in 2025 while adding 11 receptions for 142 yards and one touchdown.
