One High Value Future Bet Before Steelers Return To Action

The Steelers are +130 to win the AFC North

The NFL season is young, but the good teams and bad teams are starting to separate from one another. The Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 3-1, the best record in the AFC North. The Cincinnati Bengals are 2-3, while the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens are each 1-4.

While the Steelers have a lead in the division, oddsmakers aren’t convinced they’re going to hold on. FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Ravens as the favorites to win the AFC North at -105, while the Steelers are listed at +130. The Ravens are currently without their quarterback, Lamar Jackson, and have a difficult remaining schedule. They host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 and are 7 1/2 point underdogs.

On top of that, Baltimore is riddled with injuries. Jackson is questionable for Week 6, and Baltimore might want to be cautious with their quarterback with the bye week the following week. Aside from Jackson, Marlon Humphrey and Roquan Smith are hurt, while Nnamdi Madubuike is on injured reserve. The Ravens will have to overcome a huge hole to come back and win the division.

For the Steelers, the division is in their hands. They’ve yet to play a division opponent, but are favored over the Browns in Week 6 and Cincinnati. The Bengals are without Joe Burrow, and the Browns are already starting their second quarterback of the season.

If the Steelers win their Week 6 matchup with the Browns and the Ravens fall to the Rams, the odds should flip to make Pittsburgh the favorite in the division. This might be the last chance to get the Steelers to win the North at plus money.
