The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a significant 24-21 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers played a crucial role in the win.
Despite the future Hall of Famer’s outstanding performance, Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski gave Rodgers a B grade instead of an A.
“If a defense allows a quarterback of Aaron Rodgers’ experience to get the ball out quickly and stay ahead of the chains, it’s in for a long day,” Sobleski wrote Monday.
“Rodgers honestly didn’t need to do a whole lot against the Vikings. He knew where to go with the ball and did so rapidly. Even during the quarterback’s long touchdown pass, he targeted DK Metcalf at about 12 yards of depth downfield, and the wide receiver scampered 80 yards in total for the score.”
Rodgers completed 18 of 22 passes for 200 yards and one touchdown on Sunday. If Pittsburgh hadn’t taken a two-score lead in the third quarter, Rodgers likely would have thrown for even more yards and possibly additional touchdowns.

The main point isn’t the grade Rodgers received for his performance, but rather Pittsburgh’s impressive 3-1 record, which positions it at the top of the AFC North.
