The Pittsburgh Steelers enter their matchup against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday as 2.5-point underdogs.
Both teams have a record of 2-1, but former Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker believes it’s a no-brainer that the Vikings will defeat Pittsburgh.
“I’m going with the Vikings,” Walker said Thursday on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, via Steelers Depot. “They looked good against the Bengals. Don’t get me wrong, the Bengals didn’t have their starting quarterback (Joe Burrow); they were out there with Jake Browning, who didn’t look good. You can’t really say Carson Wentz looked good against the Bengals because the Bengals were awful.”
The Vikings defeated the Bengals last week, winning 48-10 and forcing Cincinnati to turn the ball over five times.
Minnesota will likely be without starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who is dealing with an ankle sprain. However, the Vikings will welcome back wide receiver Jordan Addison, who missed the last three games due to a suspension for violating the NFL’s Substance Abuse Policy.

“You got Jordan Addison coming back, Harrison Smith is coming back,” Walker added. “I feel like right now the Vikings are going to be a tough team, just in these couple of weeks, they are on a high horse right now, and this should be a no-brainer.”
Pittsburgh’s offense has struggled lately, scoring only 21 points in its Week 3 victory over the New England Patriots. As the Steelers prepare to take on Minnesota’s defense, which limits opponents to just 271.3 total yards per game, they will face a challenging task in finding a way to succeed.
