Terry Bradshaw Doesn’t Think Shedeur Sanders Is An NFL QB

Bradshaw clearly isn't a fan of Sanders

Terry Bradshaw understands what it takes to be a successful NFL quarterback, and he isn’t convinced that Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders has what it takes to play at the highest level.

Bradshaw wants to know why so many people are hyping Sanders.

“Why is the fifth-rounder getting all this attention? Why? You tell me,” Bradshaw told USA Today Sports Seriously. “I wouldn’t have taken Shedeur. Let somebody else have that problem.”

Many fans regarded Sanders highly coming out of college, but NFL teams saw him very differently. Although once rumored to be a possible first-round pick, he fell all the way to the fifth round and is currently the No. 3 quarterback on Cleveland’s depth chart.

Before the NFL Draft, there was speculation that the Pittsburgh Steelers were interested in Sanders. However, the team chose to draft quarterback Will Howard instead.

Sanders could likely see some NFL action this season since the Browns have started over three quarterbacks in the last two seasons.

Pittsburgh faces Cleveland for the first time in Week 6. Their second matchup comes in Week 17, which could be a perfect time for Sanders to get an NFL start.
