Pittsburgh Pirates minor-league pitching prospect Brandan Bidois was promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis for the first time in 2025 in mid-August.
Through five appearances covering 7 2/3 scoreless innings with the Indians, Bidois has yet to allow a hit, but the stretch of no-hit outings extends significantly further for the right-hander.
MLB.com’s Michael Clair shared on Monday morning that Bidois hasn’t allowed a hit in six weeks, dating back to his time with Double-A Altoona.
“Picked up this note thanks to Eric Balnar’s Australia newsletter: Pirates pitching prospect Brandon Bidois hasn’t allowed a hit since July 29th, a streak spanning 51 batters. From Queensland, Australia, he would be 39th Aussie big leaguer if called up,” Clair wrote on Bluesky.
The Pirates signed the 24-year-old Australian to a minor-league contract in September 2019 and he steadily worked his way up to Triple-A for the first time in 2024.
