Pittsburgh Pirates star outfielder Oneil Cruz is beginning a minor-league rehab assignment on Saturday.
The news was first reported by Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
“Pirates OF Oneil Cruz (concussion) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona tonight,” Beazley wrote on X.
Cruz suffered a concussion during the team’s 14-0 loss against the Milwaukee Brewers on Aug. 12 after a collision with fellow outfielder Jack Suwinski.
