Steelers Announce Flurry Of Roster Moves Amid Training Camp

Pittsburgh signed three players

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced a flurry of roster moves one week into training camp.

Pittsburgh signed defensive tackle Domenique Davis, tight end Kevin Foelsch and running back Lew Nichols. The Steelers also released running back/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson and waived both receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig and linebacker Jeremiah Moon.

Davis, who was released earlier this week, spent time on the Steelers practice squad in 2024. Davis originally signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft and spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Foelsch has yet to play in an NFL game, but has spent time with the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and most recently the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nichols was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, but spent most of the season on the Reserve/Injured List. He has since spent time on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad.
