Pirates Reveal Starting Rotation For Return From All-Star Break

Bailey Falter will get the nod Friday

The Pittsburgh Pirates will kickstart the unofficial second half against the Chicago White Sox on Friday at PNC Park.

Bailey Falter, Mike Burrows and Andrew Heaney will all toe the rubber.

Pittsburgh announced its starting rotation for the weekend series in a post to X, revealing the three pitchers who will have the pleasure of hurling during “Yinzerpalooza Weekend” at PNC Park. Falter will start on Friday, Burrows on Saturday and Heaney on Sunday — with the first two games being held following pregame block parties outside the ballpark.

Paul Skenes, who started for the National League in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, will get some extra rest and make his next start against the Detroit Tigers.

The Pirates will also be giving away Mac Miller bobbleheads on Saturday.
