Steelers’ Patrick Queen Cracks NFL Top 100 List For 2025

Another Top 100 nod for Patrick Queen

Patrick Queen continues to be a dominant force on defense, and the NFL certainly sees that.

On Wednesday, the NFL revealed that the Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker came in at No. 75 on the Top 100 list after ranking No. 64 last year. And NFL.com’s Christian Gonzales provided some insight into this ranking.

“From Baltimore to the Steelers, Queen seemingly fit into Pittsburgh’s defense perfectly and continued his high-level play. Queen, who has started 84 consecutive regular-season games since he was drafted in 2020, said he had a disappointing season despite making the Pro Bowl with his new team. But his NFL peers thought differently as Queen makes his second straight Top 100 ranking,” Gonzales wrote.

He joins his fellow teammate, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, who was listed at No. 83.

Queen led the Steelers with a team-high 129 tackles during the 2024 season, earning a spot in the Pro Bowl games. He also recorded seven passes defended, six tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, one sack, and one fumble recovery.

The Pittsburgh linebacker began his career with one of the Steelers’ biggest rivals, being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. However, he made his way across the AFC North in free agency, signing a three-year, $41 million contract with Pittsburgh. He certainly didn’t disappoint in his first season, but 2025 should be a huge year for him as he gets more comfortable in the new system.
