Penguins Draftees Had Funny Reaction Seeing Sidney Crosby’s Locker

The newest Penguins got a to see Crosby's jersey in the dressing room

The newest members of the Pittsburgh Penguins organization were introduced to Sidney Crosby.

… Well, kind of.

Penguins draftees, including first-round picks Ben Kindel, Bill Zonnon and Will Horcoff, visited Pittsburgh’s locker room where they laid their eyes on Crosby’s locker for the first time. Their reactions, as shared by the Penguins social media account, were both funny and relatable.

Comments from the 13-player group included:

“Look at his elbow pads.”

“Look at his shoulder pads.”

“Dude, that’s a legendary jock strap.”

While Penguins draftees gave Crosby’s locker a passing grade, experts gave the organization high marks for their picks. Pittsburgh used each of its first three picks on forwards while drafting seven forwards overall.

Perhaps they’ll one day get a chance to play with the 37-year-old Crosby, one of the most accomplished players to ever step foot on the ice.
