Mike Sullivan reportedly will make three additions to his staff, including two former Pittsburgh Penguins assistants.
According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman and The Athletic’s Peter Baugh on Friday, Ty Hennes, Dave Quinn and Joe Sacco will join Sullivan’s staff on the New York Rangers.
Quinn and Hennes worked for Sullivan in the past, and Quinn also has experience working in New York. Sacco joins Sullivan after nearly a decade with the Boston Bruins. The Medford, Mass., native served as interim head coach for the B’s last season after Jim Montgomery’s firing.
Sullivan’s reported additions came after the Penguins named former Rangers assistant Dan Muse as the 23rd head coach of franchise history and Sullivan’s replacement.
