Steelers Legend Doesn’t Want Aaron Rodgers In Pittsburgh

'That guy needs to stay in California'

While the ongoing saga of whether Aaron Rodgers will sign with Pittsburgh drags on, one Steelers legend made his feelings clearly known in a recent radio interview.

Four-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Fame Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw left no doubt about how he feels about Rodgers not making a decision yet.

“That’s a joke,” Bradshaw said on 103.7 The Buzz’s “Morning Mayhem” show about Rodgers potentially joining the Steelers. “That is, just to me, a joke.”

While the Steelers have publicly stated they are willing to be patient with the 41-year-old Rodgers, Bradshaw isn’t convinced he’s the right signal-caller for Pittsburgh.

“What are you going to bring him in for one year?” Bradshaw said. “Are you kidding me? No, man, that guy needs to stay in California, go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”

Bradshaw is apparently not the only one fed up with Rodgers’ failure to commit — some of the players in the locker room are “over” the saga as well.
