The Steelers signed wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig to an active contract on Tuesday.
It’s not like he’s new to Pittsburgh, however.
Lemonious-Craig, 22, was at the team’s rookie minicamp two weeks ago and is now being given a chance to carve out a full-time role with the team. The Steelers clearly like what they saw out of the former Arizona (2023-2024) and Colorado (2020-2022) wide receiver, who completed his journey throughout college football with 79 receptions for 995 yards and nine touchdowns — serving as a core special teamer, as well.
The Steelers assigned him No. 14, which George Pickens previously wore before he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys.
DK Metcalf, Robert Woods, Calvin Austin, Scotty Miller, Ben Skowronek, and Roman Wilson currently top the receiver depth chart in Pittsburgh.
