Aaron Rodgers continues to take his time deciding his future, and Steelers fans’ patience is running thin.
Luckily, for Pittsburgh fans, ESPN’s Adam Schefter predicted a swift end to the saga.
“My guess is he’s going to wind up there,” Schefter said on ESPN Milwaukee, per PennLive’s Nick Farabaugh. “I think that we’ve heard Art Rooney, the team owner, say he expects Aaron Rodgers to sign there, and they have mandatory minicamp June 10th to the 12th, so I would think Rodgers is on the table here in the next week or so.”
Rodgers’ only update came from the “Pat McAfee Show,” and it didn’t inspire confidence. However, the belief in the NFL is that the 41-year-old will sign with the Steelers. Art Rooney II also expressed confidence about Rodgers, and it seems like the NFL schedule makers also believe he will don black and yellow based on the matchups on Pittsburgh’s schedule.
The decision is up to Rodgers, and the Steelers seem willing to wait if they can sign a future Hall of Fame quarterback.
