Ben Roethlisberger Makes These Steelers 2025 Predictions

'That'll get you a few more wins'

Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger knows what it takes to win in Pittsburgh.

The six-time Pro Bowler led the Black and Gold to two Super Bowl titles under center and leads the franchise in many categories, including passing yards (64,088), touchdowns (418) and game-winning drives (53).

Looking at Pittsburgh’s 2025 season schedule on his “Footbahlin” podcast, Roethlisberger made two different predictions on how many games the Steelers would win.

Why two? Well, it all depends on whether or not Aaron Rodgers signs with Pittsburgh.

“It’s called three letters: H-O-F,” Roethliseberger said. “That’s what that’ll get you. It’ll get you, that’ll get you a few more wins.”

Roethlisberger believes the Steelers will go 11-6 with Rodgers, but he also claimed the team would fall to 7-10. giving head coach Mike Tomlin his first losing season in Pittsburgh.

One game that Roethlisberger theorizes would change if Rodgers is under center is when the Steelers visit the New England Patriots in Week 3.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

“I know the Patriots had a really down year (last season),” Roethlisberger said. “They have (Mike) Vrabel, new coach; I think they play for him. Drake Maye, I do like Drake Maye. I think he’s a year improved. … I think with Aaron, it’s a win. Without, it’s a loss.”

Another notable prediction is that Roethlisberger said the Steelers would lose to the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland — regardless of whether Rodgers is with Pittsburgh or not.
