Steelers Sign Seven Undrafted Free Agents Following NFL Draft

Pittsburgh added four offensive weapons

The Pittsburgh Steelers capped off their 2025 NFL Draft class on Saturday evening by selecting cornerback Donte Kent out of Central Michigan.

After selecting seven players, including defensive tackle Derrick Harmon and quarterback Will Howard, in the draft, the Steelers agreed to terms with seven undrafted players to add to the depth chart.

Here’s a full rundown of all the Steelers’ 2025 undrafted free agent signings:

Sebastian Castro, safety, Iowa
Castro had 163 tackles, including 113 solo tackles, across 53 games for the Hawkeyes. He had five forced fumbles, four interceptions, 14 tackles for a loss and two sacks.

J.J. Galbreath, tight end, South Dakota
Galbreath appeared in 45 games for the Jackrabbits, collecting 93 receptions for 1,355 yards and 12 touchdowns. He pulled in 32 receptions for 469 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games last season.

Ben Sauls, kicker, Pittsburgh
Sauls connected on 52-of-64 field goal attempts, including a long of 58 yards in 53 games for the Pitt Panthers.

Roc Taylor, wide receiver, Memphis
Taylor had 66 receptions for 950 yards and two touchdowns last season. He pulled in 162 catches for 2,366 yards and seven touchdowns across 43 games for the Tigers.

DJ Thomas-Jones, fullback, South Alabama
Thomas-Jones appeared in 13 games for the Jaguars in 2024. He finished the campaign with 22 receptions for 191 yards and three touchdowns. In three seasons for South Alabama, Thomas-Jones collected 610 yards on 69 catches and scored 11 touchdowns.

Aiden Williams, offensive guard, Minnesota-Duluth
Williams played in 40 games over four seasons for the Bulldogs, including 11 games each for the last three years.

Ke’Shawn Williams, wide receiver, Indiana
Williams spent four seasons at Wake Forest before transferring to Indiana last season. He’s played in 59 games during his college career with 2,640 all-purpose yards, including 1,833 receiving.
