T.J. Watt sparked controversy in the Steel City.
The Pittsburgh Steelers star defender took to social media Wednesday afternoon and posted a cryptic photo to Instagram. The photo, which didn’t come with any caption, showed Watt holding up a peace sign.

Could the social media post mean nothing? Well, yeah, it could. But posts similar to what Watt shared typically signify some sort of rift between the player and organization.
The 2021 Defensive Player of the Year, who’s finished top four for the award five times, is set to enter his final year under contract. Watt signed a four-year, $112 million deal prior to the 2022 campaign and is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2025 season.
