Pirates Odds: Where Pitcher Ranks In National League Rookie Of The Year Race

Can Bubba Chandler win this award?

Bubba Chandler will turn some heads in the National League this season when he eventually debuts for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The 22-year-old ended last season with a strong seven-start sample size in Triple-A Indianapolis and recently impressed during the MLB Spring Breakout Game. He’ll make an impact at some point this season with the Pirates and could shake up the National League in the process.

DraftKings Sportsbook currently has Chandler with the fourth-best odds to win National League Rookie of the Year at plus-900 odds. He only trails Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Roki Sasaki (plus-225), Washington Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews (plus-350) and Chicago Cubs infielder Matt Shaw (plus-425).

Chandler will be a welcomed addition to the Pirates rotation alongside young arms in Paul Skenes and Jared Jones.
