The Pittsburgh Pirates have an exciting season ahead in 2025 as Konnor Griffin prepares for his first full season in professional baseball.
The 2024 MLB Draft’s No. 9 overall pick only has nine at-bats this spring, though he already impressed with standout defense in the outfield and some flashes of true power. Griffin will take the stage Friday in Pittsburgh’s Spring Breakout game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Griffin has a home run, two RBIs and three runs scored thus far in his spring game action for the Pirates in 2025.
Griffins made the roster along with other intriguing names such as Wyatt Sanford, Termarr Johnson and Bubba Chandler.
